AdSense Information For Beginners - The Difference Between AdSense and AdWordsAll over the web you will come across AdSense information and AdWords information. As a beginner, it is VERY confusing - isn't it? It takes a while before you realize that they are two completely different things. And even longer to work out what the difference actually IS. Let me get you over this hurdle... Google AdWords is Google's Ad SELLING system - You PAY for these ads. When you do a Google Search these Google AdWords Ads will appear on the right hand side (and sometimes at the top) of the Results page. To place one of these Ads you must open a free Google AdWords account. You then pay to use the keywords of your choice. You fix a maximum price that you are willing to pay eg $100. Every time someone clicks on your ad Google charge you the amount you bid - eg $1 per click. So, the amount you bid for your keyword determines how many times your ad is shown - some keywords are more expensive than others, depending on their popularity. Your ad will show until it has been clicked 100 times - then you will have reached your maximum price of $100. Google AdSense is Google's Ad PLACING system - You GET PAID every time someone clicks on one of these ads. Google AdSense Ads are placed on YOUR website. Again, to organize this you must open a free AdSense account. Google will automatically crawl the content of your pages and deliver ads (you can choose text and/or image ads) that are relevant to your audience and your site content. If a visitor to your website clicks on one of these AdSense ads - YOU get paid a % of the amount the person that created the ad has agreed to pay for it. As I said above, AdSense information and AdWords information is in abundance. However, converting this information into cash is a skill that you will never possess if you do not first of all understand clearly the difference between them. Now you do!
